In typical Video Poker game, the dealer deals the player a hand of five cards (face up). Then the player decides which cards to hold (keep) or discard. Then the player draws to replace any discarded cards. The objective is to finish the game with the strongest hand possible. The payout at the end of the game is dependent on the value of the hand the player is holding, and the size of the player's bet. There are video poker versions with different pay off tables and games that allows playing several hands at a time.
